Claiming your free flight from a Ryanair credit card
The Comments |
Has anyone redeemed their voucher for free flights yet? I notice you have to use the voucher by phone, so it isn't really free as it is a 0870 number . When Watchdog ran their article on Ryanair earlier this year, it was shown that booking by telephone was more expensive than booking online. Yes I know, the flight is free, but the charges do seem to differ a bit, even when there is no price change . You also have to book 30 days in advance, so can you still get a bargain? What about if you wanted to book for a party of 3? Do you get the web price or the phone price?
Thanks for any input.

I thought there would be a sting in the tail, but didn't think it would be that much!! £7.99 per flight? Is that per person and each way?
Time to cut up the card I think if it is going the "benefit" me that much!!

Hi I live in IreIand and over the last 3 years since buying in Spain I have received 3 letters from MNBA saying I have free flights, but the catch is I cant fly into Murcia, Alicante or Almeria. These are the only airports that would suit me so my card is a waste of time. I will be cutting up my card also. P.S. when I took out the card the girl told me I could use it to receive free flights anywhere in Europe, its only when you read the small print you see that some airports are excluded, and as usual its always the ones that you want you cant have. Its all a con job!!!
