Interior Paint
The Comments |
We are trying to find an interior paint similar to vinyl silk as sold in the UK, which you can sponge off light scuff marks. So far we have only managed to buy a matt paint in Spain and we find it's not very hard wearing.
I have just found out that there is a shop near Fuengirola selling Dulux paints which would be ideal but does anyone knows if it is suitable for use in Spain.

I imagine Dulux would be expensive here? I always use plain and simple exterior paint; it's reasonably washable.

Hi Roberto. Are you saying you use exterior paint on your internal walls?

Yes, why not? I actually use the stuff labelled interior / exterior (same in Spanish). Most people here do the same. You can get any colour you want made up at most paint shops, although I, and most others I imagine, use white anyway. Try Pinturas Andalucia. They have several outlets near you. There's a big one on the Mijas road, I think.

Go to any large paint shop and ask for 'Lavable satinado pintura' washable satin paint. Leroy Merlin and Aki do it but may be only in certain colour.

Thanks for the useful advice. The paint we used recently was from Pinturas Andalucia so we will take another look there and also at Leroy Merlin and Aki for the lavable paint .
