I am new to the group, my wife and I have a place in Guardamar since 2001. Our fiscal rep ceased its activities and told us we could pay our taxes ourselves, ie. IBI, and renta ( without rental income). Last march we went to Elche Agencia Tributaria ( AT), we got our labels and we asked for form 214 for our 2008 taxes. So they gave us this, we filled it and showed it to an agent in the AT. We speak very little spanish, but from what we understood, it all looked fine, so we brought it to the bank, paid it and were very proud of ourselves.
However, I have just learned that form 210 was the one to use. So the question is, will they reject our form 214 or will be penalised in any way? I would suppose not since the amount paid would have been the same ( ie 1.1% of catastral value X24%, divided by 2 for each of us) ). Does anyone know for shure?
