Sky Prices from 1st September 2009

As from 1st September, the following prices are believed to be implemented for new and existing customers.

Although these increases are not yet official, this yearly price "review" has been sent has been mentioned in the monlthy sky magazine..

1 mix - 6 mix are up £1 on 1st September

1 mix - 3mix + sports 1/2 are down £1

4 mix - 6 mix + sports 1/2 are same price

1 mix - 3 mix + movies 1/2 are same price

4 mix - 6 mix +movies 1/2 are up £1

1 mix - 3 mix + sports mix are same price

4 mix - 6 mix + sports mix are up £1

1 mix - 3 mix + movies mix are same price

1 mix - 3 mix + movies mix are up £1

1 mix - 3 mix + sports mix + single movies are same price

4 mix - 6 mix + sports mix + single movies are up £1

1 mix - 3 mix +movies mix + single sports are same price

4 mix - 6 mix +movies mix + single sports are up £1

1 mix - 6 mix movies mix + sports mix are all up £1

These are the Sempember 1st price increases for Sky TV.

Additionally the full VAT will return on 1st January so everything will go up 50p except the 1 mix - 6 mix movies mix + sports mix which will have the £1 put back on.

How accessible is Sky TV in Spain and is there a better option to English-language satellite tv coverage?
 

The Simple answer is : easy...get a dish and reciver , point the dish at the satllites and away you go...

However, a lot depends on which channel you wnt to watch....most (50/60%) of the sky subscription package can be received on an 80 cm dish....more can be received on a 1.25m dish.

yet if you want bbcs or itvs (which are not part of the sky package by the way) you will need a big dish - from 1.8 to 2.4)

many other satellite providers (D+) show many programmes in spanish and also available in english....they have been pushing this serivce this year in their advertising....and on their website...most things made in the usa or uk are available in english.
