Fridge Repair

We've just heard from our keyholder that our fairly new fridge is not working. Can anyone recommend a Seimens repair man in the Sabinillas area please? We think it's the thermostat. I am out there Friday, for the weekend. Thanks.

Is it more than 2 years old?  If not then it should be fixed under warranty.

Otherwise I have a Spanish contact who sorted ours out.  How's your Spanish??

Hi Justin, Thanks for replying. My spanish is muy pequena.  We completed on the apartment July '08. So technically, it should still be under warranty BUT of course, the apartments sat with the white goods in for about a year before we completed. So, debatable about the actual warranty. Good point though. I will first give the problem to Arenal. See what they make of it.  Will get back to you about your contact if they don't come through for us.

When our boiler went the first time it was under warranty on a new apartment.  We showed the technician the copy of our escritura and that was all he needed to confirm that the boiler was still under warranty as.  I think this is quite normal practice so you should be covered.
