Where do you get your tyres from?

I hope he was referring to me, I should be a bit concerned otherwise. But seriously I don't know. Truth is by the time I am looking at doing it, somebody will surely be doing it. But thats no bad thing.

We have a fantastic mobile tyre fitter who has been operating on the Costa Del Sol for three years and is a member of our Business Networking Group.  He is called Steve and was mentioned in an earlier post.  He is extremely reliable and professional and offers a 24 hour call out service, and in order to be included in our Network Group has had to comply with our referencing procedures.  An example of his prices, 4 tyres for a Range Rover 20", 650€, balanced and fitted at home/work. I  buy them in the U.K., half the price of here, 22 pound to deliver( 4 tyres), 3 days and fitted and balanced for 50 euros. Where I live tyres are far cheaper than other places in Spain and they are still twice the U.K. price.

Everything is considerably cheaper outside of the Costa Del Sol, but surely that is not the price you paid for Range Rover Tyres?  If so can you give me the contact details for the company in the UK so I can get them direct next time.

No, not for a RR,they where 215/65R15's for my mpv.

Sorry Sam I am a bit lost. What price, 215/6515 is the tyre size and I have just bought 4 for the carnival, ( 156 pounds ) but this time my friend is bringing them out in Jan. in his m/home and his son who runs a suzuki dealers got them for me and they where the same price that I could get them using the internet, plus DPD logistics  do the shipping and transfer to SEUR for Spanish delivery.Last time I bought tyres and had them delivered was 2 years ago but this time I trawled the 'net for the best prices but unfortunately when his son got them for me I have deleted all the bookmarks. Re; delivery,I have bought quite a few parts from the U.K. this past year from different factors all over the U.K. and they have all come DPD/SEUR. I have had to take the link out ( not past 10 posts ) I'llpm it.

i have a zafira2.0L, elegance, bought in 2002, and live near mazarron, murcia. can anyone advise me where is the best place  to buy tyres and have them fitted. i have heard of so many different prices and experiences quoted.

We found we got the best price for tyres by asking one of our Spanish friends where they got theirs from and going there. We also found by moving inland a bit we got them even cheaper.

Now we own our own Spanish car this is of interest to us. On our local market we have English people selling & fitting tyres from a van. Next time we visit the market I must get details.
