Well Irosa, I am amazed you ever find the SAME members of staff in Gogo.  I am in touch with two ex-staff, (one of whom has testified against Ronaldo the Fraud in Court).  If you are as familiar with the property market as you claim, then you sure must have heard what others in the trade have to say about Go-go - and that ranges from solicitors, to developers to even those in the Town Hall.

Sure, dear readers, make your own opinions but if you are using this site, it is probably because you want to assess the wider opinion.  The intelligent buyer is aware these days and just doesn't take things on face value.  Logo'd cars and large offices no longer cut the mustard (even if they weigh heavy on the overheads).  Opinions, recommendations and personal eyes open does.

I agree, but as an ex employee of a large firm like Ocean Estates, and did a job well done and not get paid is a crime worth mentioning, especially when alone in a foreign country and vulnerable...however then on the other hand to be treated well by Gogo Estates is worth mentioning....like you say we all have our own opinions, I´m only giving the truth?? No one likes the real estate business, but unfortunately it rules the employment/economy here in Almeria/murcia unless you want to go picking veg? I suggest some sort of ruling system in place but that would surly have to go at least 10 years down the line?????

No offence taken

Hello

We bought a villa through Ronald and Gogo nearly 4 years ago.

It needed upgrading - and through them we ordered a new kitchen, furniture and swimming pool. THere were problems with getting permission for the pool - ROnald backed us all the way and never let us down. We had problems with   the abogado - Linda was great in helping us.

All were reasonably priced, good quality - and all niggles/problems sorted straight away. Once I phoned his mobile - and he was in Holland on holiday - and he still sorted out my problem.I

In December we bumped into him in Aguilas when we were on the way to Telefonica to try to get a phone line installed. He insisted we let him sort it out - and he did . 7 days later the engineer turned up - and whilst he was there Ronald phoned up to check all was OK.

We have only good to say about him.

The latest in the development of my special relationship to Gogo estates is as follows.

I have printed out the comments people have made on this forum on GoGo, both the positive and negative and given these to my Dad asking him to carefully consider with whom he is doing business. I never said don't go with Gogo. I just said there are other agents and maybe its worth getting a second opinion on the value of the house.

At the same time, Ronald has told my dad not to go to a sollicitor for the sales contarct as he can save a lot of money if he sells and buys the new place by private contract. I was hoping that would send the alarm bells ringing but it didn't.

Apparently, my Dad took my concerns to Ronald and Ronald has talked my Dad into lecturing me not to put my nose into other people's business. Fair enough. I only wanted to warn him but it's his house and his money and if he wants to sell under value so be it.

Meanwhile,  the monster Ronald  has set his mother back into action again and she has talked to my Dad's GF and convinced her that I have a reputation around Aguilas for sticking my nose into other people's business and also all sorts of wierd and hurtful stories about me and my partner.

This just goes to show to what depths GoGo will sink to fight off criticism.

Also interesting that a lot of the parise is coming from people with low post counts. Are any of them Ronald and co by any chance? My Dad's phone was broken for months and Ronald did nothing to help.

Hi

It does look suspect Jobe only wring '0' posts - but there was a problem with the settings or something ( I'm Key Stage 1 on the PC) - and as I could not solve the problem I re-registered as Randolph.

I am sorry you are having problems with Ronald. We had problems as well in the beginning but they finally got sorted out and we have remained on friendly terms.

I will send you a PM to explain the situation.

Jo

Some 3 1/2 years after paying the deposit on our second property through Gogo we are still in legal discussion about whether the property (in Palomares) has the correct regional legal documents and have not completed yet.  And Gogo?  Not a word from them to help us, despite impassioned pleas.  Sometimes when I ring, they don't even have a record of who we are, despite the fact they pocketed upwards of €25k in commission from us.  Not an organised agency.

Linda, I agree, was a huge assistance but left as the sale on our first property completed in June 2006 and we struggled through the after sales snagging process ourselves.  Thank goodness I have an(ever improving) knowledge of the spanish language, otherwise we would have been in the deep and nasty.

Awful when family relationships take a dive, Amogles.  I feel for you.

As a matter of interest Go Go have vacated their large office in Aguilas (opposite the old local Police office). They were there at 9a.m. last Friday and at 11a.m. were gone. Apparently Ronald owed the owner fof the office more than 3 months rent and the owner turned up with the police and a lawyer, told him he had 2 hours to leave, and he went! Not for good unfortunately as he is opening up in  a small unit opposite the little petrol station in the centre of the town (at the traffic lights). Not sure what name he will be using yet so beware!

Thanks, Sunshine.  Although not surprised personally, it is good of you to mention this on this website so that those of us who don't frequent Aguilas regularly are aware.  My only hope, across all affected countries, that this recession separates the wheat from the chaff, leaving a better and more honest commercial system than before.

Hi guys, its good news, I was lucky to see it in action!! However for your information, the website advertised in the window is not even his website, its a portal! Regarding the gogo website it hasn't changed since last May!!! Looks like he's on a downward slope if you ask me, and word about town is nobody trusts him!! I hope what has gone around comes around as they say!
