Private Messages!

Sorry, but lost patience trawling through the threads!  Just wanted to know exactly what the rules are regarding PMs?  It seems that new members can PM other members, but may not necessariy be able to view messages received from other members.

I thought new members had to have posted so many posts before being able to send PMs, but I have recently received a PM from a new member (not complaining by the way!), with only three posts, but wonder if they can view my response?  It doesn't make sense for them to be able to PM other members without being able to view responses!

So just wondered what the criteria was regarding PMs?

im also hhaving a problem with pm's been sent one but can't get to read it  i have posted this back to admin but so far no response

I am trying to add a photo to my profile....  it lets me choose my pic but  does not give me the option of uploading it..???  i click on save changes and it says all updated but its not changed at all.

I have a Mac - do you think this is the problem...  can anyone help ..
