The endless rescue work of Angie McCready, on the Costa Blanca

Angie moved to the Southern Costa Blanca inland from Alicante 9 years ago from the UK. She hadn't realized the plight of dogs here until she arrived. She was shocked, outraged, and felt she needed to do something. She was soon bottle feeding puppies that had been found dumped in bins, picking up strays from the street, and finding them new homes. Many didn't even go any further than Angie's home... She's a confirmed failed fosterer on more than one occasion. At the last count she has 11 ranging from quite small dogs to a Spanish Mastiff who is the gentlest dog ever.

Lily and Vida

Lily was pregnant and in a kill shelter in Malaga. Angie took Lily in so she could safely have her puppies at her home. Lily is very gentle and affectionate and you hardly know you have her. Her blood tests have come back as borderline Leish, so 2 tablets a day is all that's required. She weighs about 15k and it is thought she is maybe 4 or 5 years old. She is spayed, fully vaccinated chipped and has passport.

Lily needs a furever home. She is super soft and sweet, and a bit of a couch potato. She had a horrible time before she came to Angie, so now deserves the very best in life. Lily gets on well with all other dogs and doesn't bother with them. She's all ready to go & is near Alicante.

Lily's puppies need homes too, see the tan & white pups in the first photos on this link https://www.facebook.com/angie.mccready.5/media_set?set=a.10155691176070647.1073742060.605555646&type=1&pnref=story

Below: Tiny Vida was horribly savaged by possibly a big dog. Her injuries were life threatening, but she has pulled through and is now fit and healthy. Only weighing about 3 or 4K, she would fit in anywhere. Although she gets on well with the rest of Angie's pack (around 25 dogs) Vida would be much happier in a home with fewer dogs as she is still a little timid and nervous...but Angie is working on that.

Please consider giving Vida a home, she's just a poppet who deserves a home to call her own. She's near Alicante.
