Weʼre raising £500 to help Angie towards rescuing unwanted puppies in Spain!

Story
Angie McCready is quite possibly one of the most awesome human beings I have had the pleasure of knowing.
Based in Spain, she has literally dedicated her life to the unwanted puppies and dogs that, without her help, would rot away in a pound or be thrown in the trash (quite literally might I add!) She is the difference between life and death for these dogs.
Angie and her husband have taken in, raised and found homes for hundreds of unwanted dogs over the years and rely completely on the kindness of others and their donations.
After only saying goodbye to no less than 12 healthy, happy, hand reared pups to their new forever homes last week, another litter need her help.
Angie has taken in a mum and her 6 puppies and desperately needs some funds to help with their veterinary and on going care.
Please consider making a donation, literally every penny will go to the dogs and means Angie can keep doing what she does best.
In Angie's words, these creatures are 'treasure, not trash'.
Thank you! 💜

Angie's 3rd book about Casa McCready is out, please buy it
Tuesday, February 13, 2018
Prior to moving to Spain over 15 years ago Angie had no idea about the plight of Spanish dogs. She was shocked and outraged by what she saw and knew she wanted to help so was soon bottle feeding puppies that had been dumped in bins, and picking up and re-homing strays from the street & she's never stopped.
For dog lovers, animal rescuers and ex-pats, this is the 3rd little book of anecdotes from ex-pat animal rescuer Angie McCready & friends. They share the highs, lows, the love and laughter at Casa McCready’s Mad House.
Please support her & the dogs she helps. All royalties go, as before with her 1st & 2nd books, to ACTIN. (Animal Care Treatment International Network Spain).

From Angie......
"HELP! I have 8 puppies that need vaccinations, and 4 that need chips and passports. I'm scratching to raise the money. If anybody would like to help me to help Honey's 4 pups, who were born at my home, Charlie and Simon who came from the Valencia perrera, and the 4 Podenco pups I've just taken on I would be very grateful. I cant do this without you. I've also taken on Harry & Wiily who were found as newborns with 4 others in a bin. My PayPal address is angie_mccready@hotmail.com
Thank you x"

Please look at the Facebook page about the olive tree podenco puppies.
8 Podenco pups were surviving deep in the root of an old Olive tree with their mum. We believe foxes took two of them. 4 of them are now with Angie.

Busy, busy, busy at Casa McCready
Sunday, July 12, 2015
I apologise for not blogging for Angie for a while, life's been hectic & I blog for other worthwhile causes too.
This is Angie's Facebook page where you can read/see all that's going on with her, please do take a look so you don't miss anything.
Angie has many videos on YouTube too, go look, pups are so cute.
Angie's been super busy, I really don't know how she manages to do what she does. She needs these pups, as well as Honey & Vida, to be adopted. Angie is just inland from near Alicante, Costa Blanca.
Honey's puppies, Cilla, Henry, Polly, Pearl & Heidi below are now 8 weeks old. They were born at Angie's. Honey is a Podenca mix.
Beautiful Honey. She is the mum to the puppies. Honey is very loving and VERY affectionate. She loves nothing more than a cuddle. She talks too and asks to get on the sofa! Honey is no trouble at all.
Although she doesn't particularly like cats she is learning to accept them now. She understands quite a few commands and is house trained. Honey will be spayed soon and ready to go. She is approx 18 months old and such a sweet little soul.
Please consider
adopting Honey below.
Tiny Vida (below) has fully recovered from her life threatening injuries after being attacked by (probably) a very big dog. She is a bit nervous until she gets to know you and then shes your bestest friend. Vida loves bedtime, She romps on the bed and plays like a puppy. We think she's about a year old.
Vida has had all her vaccinations and has been spayed. She has been through so much and now needs her own family to love her.
Please consider adopting Vida below.
Below: These are the latest puppies that were rescued from a Perrera in Valencia a few days ago & brought to Angie. They are all so soft and have gentle natures. Approx 8 weeks old. 3 boys and 1 girl all looking for their forever homes.
.
Angie needs funding for these new puppies, can you help out?

Lily and Vida
Sunday, May 24, 2015
Lily was pregnant and in a kill shelter in Malaga. Angie took Lily in so she could safely have her puppies at her home. Lily is very gentle and affectionate and you hardly know you have her. Her blood tests have come back as borderline Leish, so 2 tablets a day is all that's required. She weighs about 15k and it is thought she is maybe 4 or 5 years old. She is spayed, fully vaccinated chipped and has passport.
Lily needs a furever home. She is super soft and sweet, and a bit of a couch potato. She had a horrible time before she came to Angie, so now deserves the very best in life. Lily gets on well with all other dogs and doesn't bother with them. She's all ready to go & is near Alicante.
.
.
Lily's puppies need homes too, see the tan & white pups in the first photos on this link https://www.facebook.com/angie.mccready.5/media_set?set=a.10155691176070647.1073742060.605555646&type=1&pnref=story
Below: Tiny Vida was horribly savaged by possibly a big dog. Her injuries were life threatening, but she has pulled through and is now fit and healthy. Only weighing about 3 or 4K, she would fit in anywhere. Although she gets on well with the rest of Angie's pack (around 25 dogs) Vida would be much happier in a home with fewer dogs as she is still a little timid and nervous...but Angie is working on that.
Please consider giving Vida a home, she's just a poppet who deserves a home to call her own. She's near Alicante.
Angie needs donations at all times as she is always taking in rescued dogs & there's always vets bills etc. If you want to help please PayPal angie_mccready@hotmail.com
