A certain 2 Mastine pups stole a bag of flour from the kitchen and proceeded to trot along to their pen with it. Fortunately, it was in a carrier bag, so no damage done. Not wanting to mention anybody's names, but Chester and Hooch were the guilty parties.

From Angie "They are all taking a bit more interest in my cat, Percy. Fortunately, she is very used to dogs coming and going and doesn't bother with them. Yes I know my cat is a female called Percy.. it's a long story, lol"

25th June: Scout, one of Missy's pups, on her way to her forever home in Germany.

(Scout had been fostered by another lady in Spain after leaving Angie).

From Angie: "I rescued Mona from a shelter in Alicante. She had sarcoptic mange and was very poorly. They said she was 12 years old. Well here she is today. She will be 15 around Xmas time but it's only a rough guess as we dont really know her age. She's been through so much, but I love her with all my heart. xx"

Hooch, Cujo & Chester have all been adopted together. They're going to the UK as soon as they're old enough, late July.

From Angie "Well I can honestly saw in all my years of rescue, I have never had any of my dogs contract Kennel cough. The vet has said it could be down to the weather changes releasing spores. 

Anyway, it isn't bad, and all 5 pups are now on anti biotics so hopefully in a week or 2 it should be cleared up. They are happy enough, eating well, and at 3 months old are now weighing 16Kg, ..Yes they have grown A LOT, lol.

The Mastine boys

Updated 9am Friday 20th: 
Angel, one of the Mastine pups is now also coughing as well as Lucy, one of Angie's adopted rescue dogs.

From Angie "These cheeky buggers have dug so many holes in my garden you wouldnt believe, and since we had the storm yesterday the ground is perfect for digging lol. Look at the way Cujo covers the hole up with his body when I ask him if he's digging haha. Such sweethearts."

All pups now have either forever homes or new foster homes to go to.

The Mastine males need homes still.

Below: The Mastine pups today. All much more relaxed now and not so much fear. Angie is looking for foster homes for them in order to get them socialized with people. They are fine with her, but nervous of other people.

They get on great with other dogs and are cat friendly. It's a shame they are like this through no fault of their own, and will make it difficult to find homes for them if they aren't socialized.

Can anybody offer a foster home to one of these beauties. They will be sponsored, so no financial outlay to anybody.

From Angie: "Missy is still as boisterous as ever, and I don't think the pups are used to it. I bet their mum was very gentle with them. But they had a ball of a time for 2 hours in the garden this evening.

I'm trying to tire them out as yesterday they slept all day (probably because of the heat) then kept us awake nearly all night, playing barking falling out..you name it. So today they have done the same again..slept all day! Let's hope we get some sleep tonight."

These huge bundles of fun are causing financial burden, please donate to looking after these puppies who, as they grow, will need more food etc.

From Angie...."These pups weigh a ton lol.

The owner said they were 2 months old. I've managed to check their teeth today, and he's not far wrong!! MASSIVE puppies. They will all be seeing the vet next week to be checked over, wormed and have their first vaccinations. 

They are adorable and are all needing homes. If in Spain they can be homed right now, but anybody wanting to adopt in UK will have to wait until they are 4 months old before they can travel. 

As you can imagine, these huge pups are going to take some feeding so if anybody can donate just a few euros towards their needs I would be really grateful.

Angie said: "After 4 attempts to get the scared one out, I finally managed to pick her up and carry her down the garden to be with the others. It was a great opportunity to have a kiss and cuddle with her, and I think she enjoyed it more than the rest of them! Not sure what they weigh, but they are heavy. Getting them back in was another story, but I called on Billy yet again, and he managed it lol"

From Angie: "Well they sleep all day, and party all night! I was woken at around 3,30am to these buggers yapping, playing, scrapping, and just generally making a racket. This is the greeting I got this morning at about 6,30 am after I had cleaned the mess up. Much happier to see me.. even the little frightened one was out of her corner."

Angie said tonight: "They have laid in that outside kitchen all day, hardly moved, all cuddled up, ...I let Billy in there and what a difference!! I can hear them now yapping and playing in the pen. I think tomorrow we might see different puppies.

Billy saved the day, bless him. I think things will start to get easier now."

The  owner of these adorable Mastin puppies was going to dispose of them last weekend as they ate too much!

A lady posted on Facebook about them needing help, she runs a residence for dogs, but doesn't have room herself. 

The owner gave her a few days to try and find them somewhere to go.. today was the deadline .. then he was going to 'dispose' of them.

Angie contacted the lady but it's in Jaen, so far away and the transport was going to be very expensive. 

Through the power of Facebook a very kind lady has paid for the fuel & another kind couple are transporting them to Alicante airport this morning ..a 1000km round trip ..where Angie will collect them.

Somebody has offered to sponsor one of the pups, but Angie will need donations to cover the other 3, and of course any vets bills vaccinations, food etc
