The endless rescue work of Angie McCready, on the Costa Blanca

Angie moved to the Southern Costa Blanca inland from Alicante 9 years ago from the UK. She hadn't realized the plight of dogs here until she arrived. She was shocked, outraged, and felt she needed to do something. She was soon bottle feeding puppies that had been found dumped in bins, picking up strays from the street, and finding them new homes. Many didn't even go any further than Angie's home... She's a confirmed failed fosterer on more than one occasion. At the last count she has 11 ranging from quite small dogs to a Spanish Mastiff who is the gentlest dog ever.

Angie said tonight: "They have laid in that outside kitchen all day, hardly moved, all cuddled up, ...I let Billy in there and what a difference!! I can hear them now yapping and playing in the pen. I think tomorrow we might see different puppies.

Billy saved the day, bless him. I think things will start to get easier now."

These poor (not so little) things look scared of their own shadow don't they.

Their body language is so indicative, and they must have had no human interaction to still be like this.

I hope Billy get's them wagging their tails. Please keep us updated on the Mastins, you are doing such a great job for these, and all the other doggies you help. Rx

PS. Just had time to watch the video. How rewarding that is. I just want the little one at the back to come out now! Rx
