Living with the Presidente.

A tongue in cheek account of living with the Presidente, OR how to survive and extended 'family' of 183.

Popping off.....................
Tuesday, January 13, 2009 @ 1:18 PM

Just popped in to say El Presidente and Moi are popping off................to UK to see family. Booked with Ryanair for 60€ return for the 2 of us and then another 60€ for baggage and card payment..........still not bad for 2 returns is it??

Apart from the decimation of the 'tree' over Christmas, it's been quiet here. In actual fact, we thought the 'tree' lights had been broken too, but it turns out that the GUY who replaced the batteries had put them both in the same way ..........................and he's not blonde!!!

It's amazingly quiet around here, not just at the apartments, but all over. Suppose it's a sign of the times, although some builders are still building, significantly, the one opposite us!!!

One of the strange things about living here, for me, is saying goodbye to friends all the time. We have made some really good friends who live in England and come to thier apartment several times each year and I always feel sad when they leave, even tho we may only meet for a short time when they visit.

Well, El Presidente is gearing up for the AGM and he put a notice up asking if anyone had anyhting they wanted to bring up at the AGM and there has not been a great response. Can't make up my mind if that's good or bad!!

Right, I'm off now to finish off the packing while El Presidente finds someone to leave 3 bags of waterproof cement with...............................don't ask !!!!!!!!

You must be gone by now, but I know you will "catch up" online in the UK.
Hope you have a nice trip.
Water proof cement?
Now I just HAVE to ask, how the blinkin' eck does that work then?!
Nice to see you blogging again, we have missed you!
xx
