I recently heard about these wonderful, caring people. Mike, Pauline & Marion - Rainbows End - have been feeding and giving fresh water to 35 cats and their kittens every day.
Their aim is to help stray and feral cats - to trap, neuter and release - to re- home kittens when possible and feed a colony of cats on private land at San Fulgencio near Guardamar del Segura, Alicante.
Only about half the colony has been neutered hence the kittens. Rainbows End's aim is to TNR the rest of the colony as this is the only way to manage so many cats. They need the main colony safe and maintained as you know so many cats could produce unlimited kittens.
Their main colony have food, water, shade, also shelter in the countryside on private land but the only way Rainbows End can continue to do that is through other peoples kindness and the three of them working towards helping them in anyway we can.
PLEASE if you have any household goods, Bric a Brac, unwanted clothing, even if you only have one euro to spare, your kindness would make a huge difference to the cats & kittens quality of life and enable Rainbows End to help more cats.
Each 30kg of dried cat food is mixed with pasta or rice to bulk it up, so the 30kg of dried food will last approx 20 days. They need donations of rice, pasta & dried cat food.
----> Rainbows End will be at Los Montesinos Car Boot on Sunday 4th August, please come along and give them your support. Coming along the Crevillente road from Quesada towards Torrevieja turn right at the roundabout sign to Los Montesinos & a couple of hundred yards along on the left Is the car boot. Usually there are stewards outside directing traffic into parking.
