We haven't received a penny back from Sunset estates. We are still struggling with having to pay again to put the house right so we can at least try to let it out now. Romanber won't compensate but they must have appointed these Sunset people so surely they should have some responsibility? Also Romanber say they didn't sell our townhouse with a lake-view but their office plans do show that the bedrooms in the second row should have a clear view to the lake. Also their literature, even though produced by Sunset estates, states that out townhouse should have a view. Romanber must have been at least partly responsible for checking the literature that sold their houses. I've spoken to Romanber and apparently they 'can't afford' to compensate everyone's losses???  They say our house was 'cheaper' than those with a lake-view but actually it was more expensive than the first row. It was over 219,000 euros back in January 2006. Apparently we are just supposed to have a cellar for all this extra money we paid. This we do have but it is not even tiled. Romanber keep saying they are a reputable company but all this doesn't seem that reputable to me. If you sold your house through an estate-agent, you would be given a description of  your house by that agent and you would be legally responsible for its correctness. So why should Romanber be any different?
Our kitchen was located in the end, but the money for the air-cons plus kitchen fit & clean - about 3000 euros plus has just dissappeared. All this has been a real nightmare, along with prices dropping as well which means we will find our house impossible to sell without making a loss. I wish we had just lost our deposit now to begin with, as now we will have lost more even than our 33 per cent that we originally put down on this house.
Apparently Tim & Duncan have paid somebody off - but definitely not ourselves. I've had a long serious illness, which I don't want to go into on the net, but Tim & Duncan knew how ill I had been. when they saw me, i was noyl just growing my hair back after chemo. they promised us everything & my husnand & I were really looking forward to having a holiday home to relax in. But I`suppose we are all in the same situation in one way or another & will just have to not let this drop.

Have just looked at the franchiseshopspain website and both Tim and Duncans pictures have been removed? Are they pulling another fast one? Sorry to hear about your experience Andrea, I am certain that there actions will soon catch up with them. I noticed they are still advertising on Google and are planning some events later this month perhaps some of us could say hello?

Tim and Duncan still have pictures on this website "franchise4spain(dot)com/team" the IT director Zark Carter has not added his picture???? Does he know what they are like?? I have a friensd who is on holiday in Toreveija in July so going to ask him to go to the show they are holding.
