Proindal have stated last month the community fees will be 45 euros per month. Usually in the first year no utilities are paid by purchasers as the developer meets these...which arises because all paperwork takes time to finalize and the developer is still liable for costs .
Another thing also, in any development whether there be 12 apartments or 250 in total... a president and secretary are appointed to oversee the communal charges etc., for example pool up-keep ,gardens, lighting in corridors etc.,lifts...therefore it is imperative regular meetings are held to openly discuss eventualities arising, also the A.G.M. yearly. This usually creates discord somewhere along the way and it is a job which has to be done, but it is not easy for those "in the chair" .
If Proindal have appointed a management team for the first year... it means the developer has sanctioned it. I would ask all purchasers to ask questions with regards to up-keep etc., and costs. I re-iterate to say 45 euros per month was quoted to my family only last month.
We are all responsible for our own actions and in making decisions etc., but people really need to be more assertive and ask questions before parting with their money.
