Hi Brian. We have also bought a granada. What has your solicitor advised you re the licenses and estimated start and completion dates. This is the first time we have bought abroad, and are a bit nervous. Have you had any past experience or heard any reports re the builders??? Hopefully all willturn out well, and we will be able to meet up for a glass of wine.

Hi
If you want to hear other peoples experience of this builder, have a look at thier other site on this forum called El Trampolin. I don't want to be negative but please do your research well and don't part with any money until you know all permissions have been granted. We have bought at the other site and may lose all our money paid to date because the site is not legal and permission may never be granted. If I could turn the clock back, I would never have bought here and the whole experinece has been a nightmare. You must get a good, independent solicitor and make sure you have a bank guarentee. We dont have a bank guarentee and if the developer goes bust (like some are predicting) we will not get our villa or a penny of our money back. We do hope for everyones sake that it all turns out ok for all who have purchased (but it is not for the feint hearted!)

Hi All. our solicitor has told us that all of the licenses have been granted. Does anyone have any conflicting information? It seems that the cause for a lot of the problems on the previous build was that licenses were not in place, and people were struggling to get mortgages approved because of this. Has anyone visited the El Tramploin development- are people living there yet?

Hi patch
Yes there are people living on El Trampolin some of who have posted on that message board. Most of these people have paid cash and moved into their property using builders electricity and water. However these are still not legal properties and illegal properties cannot ask to be connected to official supplies.
I found a couple of articles which relate to your site at Trampolin Hills, one in the local newspaper and one on another forum. I will see if I can find them again and will post the links here.
At the end of the day, you have to have faith in your solicitor who has told you that the licences are in place.

thanks for taking the time to post jogary. Is the El trampolin develpoment also known as ( or built on) El Valle dle Sol? For anyone else reading, we have been told by our solicitor that the water and elctrciity licenses have been granted and that a provisional approval of building license has been granted. She seems to think that the building licence will follow shortly as the local town council are keen for the development to go ahead. Obviously, I am acting on pure faith, but our solicitor is independent and has been spot on so far. She has also advised me of the problems that the buliders have had before, but has reassured me that we have done all the relevant checks to avoid any problems as best possible. We have bought through a well known reputable local estate agent who has echoed these viewpoint ( and has also put his money where his mouth is by buying two properties). Maybe I am naive, but I am ever the optimist.
p.s. It seems that many read this site but do not contribute any viewpoints.
pps GenuinelyHope all works out for you jogary

Hi Patch
Yes, the site called El Trampolin is in the area known as The Valle Del Sol. They are a few other (illegal) developments going on in that area from other developers but I have my fingers crossed that we will get some good news soon! It's very close to The Polaris World Development "La Torre" but its on the other side of the C3319 going towards Murcia.
If I hear any news about either site, I will post it here because I think it helps if you know what is happening.
Regards

I posted on this site because I was trying to be helpful and answer Patch's questions. After all, we have all purchased from the same builder and sometimes you can learn from what other people have been through.
It isn't really that the confusing. The builder has two sites, one called El Trampolin and one called Trampolin Hills.
My personal view is that the more information we share, the better we are prepared to deal with any problems that may arise. I think people should feel free to post if they can answer a question that someone has posted or share common experiences.

I can see both sides of this story!
Jogary, has without a doubt a major contribution to make to this forum. But I would like to see these contributions directed toward Trampolin Hills. After all this is the Trampolin Hills forum. I for one sympatise with the position the El Trampolin buyers now find themselves in. It's nothing short of a disgrace!
Without sounding too 'cavalier' I can only hope that something similar doesn't happen to us. Right now, we are in the precarious position that we simply don't know if our development will obtain permissions or not. Unfortunately, none of us have a crystal ball. It's a sit and wait brief.
We all got involved in this, in good faith. It is quite conceivable that full permissions will be granted and work will proceed soon. It is purely hypothetical to assume anything different.
The 'Promoter' has not yet broken any rules. So why all this doom and gloom?
Innocent until proven guilty!

I agree that the more we know about the builder the better. It has encouraged me to ask some relevant question to my solicitor. I can also see the viewpoint that things posted should be relevant to Trampolin hills. My solicitor seems very confident that building license for phase one will be granted soon. Does anyone know any different? We all need to be a little cautious, but lets not take the fun out of it!!!! Best regards to have all who have posted.

Hey Avaline,
Why just the one post and then disappear, never to post again? I've seen a lot of that, on this site. Murciaman, makes a habit of it too. If you know something, then spill the beans. I for one want to know as much about trampolin hills as possible. But I find all of this very annoying. I know all about the 'melon farmer' bla, bla, bla. Big deal. What about trampolin hills? I need to assess all of this before I decide to buy.
Help.

Hi Drogman,
My comment wasn't ment as a slag as such, but a warning !!! Whilst I am on the big site at el Trampoline, they're people that have purchased from this group long before we were on the sceen and have they got the final papers yet???
It's just a word of warning that 'the office' have an official policy, and sometimes I think that they think we are all mushrooms.....'keep em in the dark and feed em shit'.
I only hope that we are all left with egg on our face and things turn out well, and the word of warning is that why should ANY PURCHASER be left out...I'm not a bugger u jack i'm allright sort of a person, and if you think of how long our builders have been building you would have thought that by now the final papers would be with the people who had bought with when they started.
