Hi Jogary. No, we do not yet have the Habitation Licence but my Solicitor does not seem that worried at the moment; all she was interested in was getting the escritura on our property and the house and the land being in our name. There is a clause in the escritura that Trampolin have to continue to supply water and electricity until the Habitation Licence is agreed.
As I understand the position, it is not until the granting of the Habitation Licence that Murcia Water and Iberdrola will connect us to the mains; I believe that this is unlikely to happen until all houses on Trampolin have been granted their escritura. Again I understand that this may be by the end of the year.
The equivalent of the Community Charge is payable each year in June and, therefore, this has already been paid for the next 12 months. Our solicitor has told us that we will not need to pay anything until June 2009 although she has not yet given us an idea of what the amount will be although I am sure it will not be as high as UK Community Charges!!!!!!!
