I have today uploaded photos that Natalia (AEA) has taken of the newly ashfelted roads and the path that was requested down to the basuras on the lower road.
The development is nearing completion and the name of the devlopment and the barriers are due to go up in the
next few days.
Natalia is compiling a list of all snagging that needs to be done before the developers leave the site and I would encourage everyone to give her details of anything that needs to be done to the development as a whole (not your individual apartment) to her as soon as possible.

When I arrived at Dv on Friday I was happy to see that the name has been put up on the entrance, the barrier has been moved to its new place (this wasn't working all weekend we were there tho??) and the new roads have had all the lines and pedestrian crossings painted, It all looks very nicely done and professional, they should be commended on how well and quickly its been finished off.. the other new pool hasn't opened yet? I'm sure it will be open soon, the water has been in the pool for some months now, and I also noticed that our newest pool was being filled up at the weekend. Things are all coming together and the place is looking lovely..all the plants are in full bloom and looking healthy ....I took a friend with me for the weekend and it was a pleasure to show off the place.. roll on the holidays!!

Glad to hear that the site is looking more finished off and I look forward to being there on the 12th Aug!
I am a bit disappointed however that the top of the site is not having an electric gate, but a barrier.
Am i right thinking that some of the other developments locally have more impressive and secure gates?
It might put off some of the local freeloaders that use our facilities.

I have been told that the reason no gates is because the roads are not private, which leads to the point somebody has made to me , does that mean security cannot stop anybody going into the site. ( and thus use the pools and tennis courts ) and if so who is responsible for the road maintenanace!!!

I was out at Duquesa a couple of days ago and it really is starting to look great. Does anybody know if the road that leads up to Duquesa Village will be done. It really is very bad with potholes etc.

I read something in one of the local papers that the authority had schedules to tarmac 200 meters at the "top of the Duquesa hill". That rather seemed to match
the stretch of public road just outside our premises. But I didn't actually see a firm date mentioned other than it was to take place this year as a priority.
