Is anyone having the same experience as us right now ----- no-one answering our calls or emails. It seems that they are trying to ignore us until the beginning of the August holiday. Then they will have more than a month when everything closes down for the hols. We were hoping to get some money from the bank this month -- why am I not surprised that they are stalling yet again!!

Yes, it's nearly close down time. All in about 6 weeks closure or so. I know all the courts close any time now.
Always, stalling.............and they wonder why it's all gone horribly wrong !

It looks like they have closed down for their summer holidays as I have been trying to get hold of my solicitor all week and am getting no reply either by e-mail or phone (Its either that or he has done a bunk) I shouldnt joke really should I you never know with the Spanish. So looks like we wont be getting more information filtering through for a while.

I have emailed them(Aldea) twice over the last week asking them to start the procedure for cashing in my bank guarantees, but they haven't bothered to reply. Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait until September, when I'm sure they won't reply as they'll have a backlog!

Blanchy, in case you haven't seen my other posts, Aldea were there on 21st July cos I was in their office!! They were on the phone to an English client who was obviously asking for their money back from what I could hear, I was downstairs and they were upstairs! Anyway, thats why I visited their office, didn't want to be messed around and just went over there to get my BG.

Cheers Thug. Does that mean you picked them up on the day? Can you cash them immediately, is it easy, and if so where at? Sorry if you're repeating stuff. Which thread is your info on?

We have been trying to cash our bank guarantee for one year now !! First the bank just refused to communicate with our solicitor and within the last few weeks they have agreed to execute our guarantee but will not tell us when, or if it will be the whole amount or not. At the moment they are not answering our calls, probably to stall things until after the summer break.

Blanchy, Aldea were quoting about 6 months to execute the BG, I dont see why it should take so long so I've now instructed Andersons to execute the BG, they have said a few weeks, I'll keep you posted!! I went to Aldea office to get the BG, they wanted to charge me but I told them where to go and insisted that they gave me the BG, they didn't budge untill I started raising my voice and made it clear to them I wasn't leaving without them and I certainly wasn't going to pay for thier incompetance. It has cost me a lot more money instructing a new solicitor but Aldea are more interested in Parador/Huma and the banks than they are with me.

We've cashed out BG from CAM and Banco de Valencia. It's taken, since we've began all steps, about 2 months

Hi .Just returned from holiday ,and was hoping for some good news from our solicitor, but of course nothing. Does anyone no if Andersons are on holiday. and if so when do they return we are waiting for a court date.Thanks any info welcome

Miguel at Andersons is working at the moment. We find that he answers emails but we never can speak with him by telephone.
We find that emailing him every week ' reminds him ' that we are still waiting. I think it is easy to get ' lost ' and for them to forget they are supposed to be dealing with your case. This has happened to us twice.
