Hi All,

Just like to add my little bit here. I agree with a lot of what has been said about the keeping the pool area's open as much as possible as this is what we expected when we bought into Thalassa.

I totally agree with Chappym about the one serious life guard on the phase 1 pool. He did mix in with everyone on did patrol around the pool. Although the other guy didn't do much except top up his tan and fall asleep, it must be a little boring having to sit there for so long.

We have just been out for two weeks 7-21st Aug and must say we didn't have a problem and I swam everyday. The only thing that does concern me is having seen how many people were around both pools during our stay. How the hell you can think of reducing the size of the pools is beyond me. There are still a lot of people yet to complete,so the numbers on the complex I'm sure will be higher in the future. So I don't see reducing the size as an option. Especially when you have people diving in over your heads and playing ball games in there.

Having had some friends who visited us for 5 days, we were very pleased that they were very impressed with the complex, so although we do have teething troubles lets all be patient as Im sure we will get there in the end.

I agree that the pools have been very busy. However I do not agree with your comment about reducing their size. If the size was reduced less than 10% (13 or 16 square metres) The pools could be open all day and if you consider the outcome at the moment. For some periods of the day ( the busiest) the pool area is halved, because one is closed. Potentially over 1000 clients all trying to fit round one pool.

If the pool size was reduced ( not the sunbathing area) the criteria of needing a lifeguard would be avoided, also saving the community a fortune in fees.

Regards

Pedro

I have only just returned from Thalassa this evening & I will be sending out a detailed email tomorrow to the Rampton 100 & I will advise the community website that the information is available for anyone who is not on the list, who wishes to receive it.

I have an indication from Monica of what is planned for inclusion in next years budget in respect of the pools/lifeguards situation & it is a huge improvement on this years situation.

In addition, I have some views from one of the lifeguards which I will share.

Noreen
