Hi Justin,
Having just read your blog regarding the meeting on 7 August 2007, I can quite understand your frustration and the decision to step down as President, haveing lost
our Administrators as well.
I for one would like to Thank you for all that you have done in the last couple of years, but, Hope and I am sure many others will share the same sentiment, that you
reconsider once things have cooled down. I have never been able to understand why people on our development have been so volitile in their actions towards
things that need to be done. There appears to be a complete lack of understanding community responsibilities and WE ALL benefit from what we put into it.
If you read the postings on the EOS website, it is plain to see that our fees are one of the cheapest if not THE cheapest from those that other Communities pay, so WHY the problem about a 7% uncrease? I understand that many people are on low wages, but they are not alone. Pensioners are also on fixed incomes and every cent counts
.
Community fees have to be paid wherever you live in Spain, unless you are fortunate to be able to buy a Villa, so come on people lets not forget why we bought in
Nueva Manilva in the first place, not to make a profit but to have a HOME to live in. Many live permanently now and more will do so in the future through retirement etc.
Lets get back on track and make our Development one to be PROUD of and the envy of others around us!
Best wishes,
Paul Smith
