We completed 18th July in Jardin 2. Completed in person in San Javier Notary... Hab licences etc were all in place.
After the signing of the paperwork, we were given 4 sets of keys by PW, and signed for them to retain a 5th set, to do basic key holding Free of Charge for 6 months (this only involves them allowing people authorised by us to access the property - nothing else).
We also signed a disclaimer saying that we intended to put personal possessions in the property before the snagging was completed. There was nothing major on our snag list, so this wasn't a major issue to us. We only put a few basics we bought over the following couple of days in the apartment, and kept what we could wrapped in polythene etc etc - didn't fnacy returning to find it covered in paint etc.
PW Hiomestyle did our Aircon prior to completion. They got in touch a couple of months before we completed, and when we got a quote we found that they weren't much more expensive than some of the others mentioned on this forum. Because they took care of all of that prior to the completion, we saw this as easiest option. I think that people have tended to discount Homesyle for electiricals and furntiure on the assumption that they will be much more expensive that others.. but I have to say that's not the case in my experience (and having compared several of them) - so my advice would be to check them out at the same time.
Illucom did our lights for us. We ordered over the 'phone, authorised PW to release the keys and they installed on the day they said they were going to.
We ordered some other furntiure from Home Style as well - again we authorised the keys to be released and they delivered on the day they promised.
Just got back from spending 10 days there, and we've now furnished the vast majority. There are still some minor issues left outstanding on the snag list, but here was no way I was going to wait until everything was done before using the apartment. That's obviously a perosnal choice though.
