Garage remote

Has anyone managed to get hold of a spare remote for their garage.

nope, not us paul.   I've seen some people able to open them without getting out of the car and putting the fob against the sensor so there must be remote ones available.  i've got nowhere when i've asked, maybe somebody else has managed it?

These fob that we have been given are next to useless ,what the point of having to get out place the fob on the gismo ,then get back in ,you could be mugged ,or car nicked whilst doing all of this.

I have seen Juan Antonio open the garage door from 30 meters away and drive in.and the gates close behind him.So whats the point of ours?

We are out Saturday for a couple of weeks. 

Exterior Gates on block 7 were permanently open when we were there last week...maybe a technical hitch !!!

Apparently water and electricity has been off daily from 10am - 8pm since Weds we have been told by guests in our apartment...multiple messages to Diego with no reply...

Hi Diego is the site forman...he has his number posted by the letterbox drawers...more so on block 6 than our block....he has a 24hr number posted which is.....619030240....he is lovely, very pleasant...and helpful, doesn't speak good English ( we don't speak Spanish...so no slight on him intended)...Our family over there sent him multiple txt messages in Spanish...but had no response which is why we had to try and help from UK.....pity they don't post the times of these planned works by the entrance gates...if they are as lengthy as this.

We did get a call from Juan yesterday evening to say the supplies should now be back on...but the interruptions of power and water since Weds 10th have been quite significant...I hope the works they are doing have been completed by your visit..We only had a 2 hr loss of water supply the week before.. kind regards...

Diego has been there from the start (Feb 08) he is Head of Maintenance and controls the general maintenance. He is always on site every morning except Sat and Sun. A lovely man who will help as much as possible.  He speaks no English, so Spanish is vital. Juan Antonio has been on Holiday and Diego has been dealing with problems in his absence, however I do not think he has the authority of Juan. You may find this Monday (15th) Juan will be back on site. I left late on Wednesday (10th) and all was fine. A few problems have been experienced in block 7 with regards to water and plumbing and the garage doors were permanently open whilst I was there. Not an ideal situation considering the break-ins that have been experienced by others on other urbanisations in the area.

As my previous posting did say......Juan called us in the UK on Friday Sept 13th....no replies from daily txt messages in Spanish to Diego,  from Weds 10th - Friday 13th...all was not 'fine' as we did have supply problems on Sept 5th...and as already advised the garage doors have been permanently open with problems with the internal door.

I agree Diego is very personable,  but his number is promoted as a 24hr helpline, therefore he needs to respond in some capacity.
