When I arrived at Murcia airport last Friday I walked past an elderly couple looking a bit stunned. I asked them if I could help them and they told me that their friends had been putting their luggage into their car when another car had drawn up nearby and someone had nipped out and taken the ladys handbag (with all their holiday money/passports etc in it) and drove off. Just a warning to everyone to keep a close eye on their stuff whilst loading/unloading your hire cars!!

This style of theft is common place at Alicanti.
It is very difficult to get in and out of the rental area at Murcia quickly but obviously the rewards are worth the risk it seems.

Thanks for the reminder guys, going out in a couple of weeks, I'll just give them a Glasgow kiss if they try and steal Simons handbag.

Deb & the Dragon arrived yesterday in pouring rain !! - then got drenched trying to find her Hire Car at San Javier. ha,ha,ha.....had to happen.......couldn't help smiling when she told me when down ot Old Trafford yesterday in shorts & flip-flops.
She goes to Condado tomorrow for al look see, so hopefully tomorrow night will have some news

It certainley was not one of our best days at the office......but a win-is-a-win as they say........Having spent a few years in Yorkshire.......I Can't see many men from Barnsley with handbags to be honest............however I guess there is always a first for everything!!
