Has anyone dealt with this bank yet as they are the developers bank on this phase? Are they easy to deal with? Are the valuations coming in correct? Any comments please are welcome.

the developers bank are caixa galiciain torremolinos they dont deal over the phone you need to go to them allso will only give you a repayment mortgage we tryed them but repayment to high we had ours with the leeds in gib they came to our hotel and we had it all.o.k by the next day beware as on top off conpletion figure ther is a 2.8% stamp duty to pay we only found out when applying for mortgage our lawyer didnt tell us about this i only say this in case you didnt know
the leeds offer a good intrest rate and are a british bank so you understand everything

We have been led to believe there are no fees if you use the developers mortgage, therefore working out cheaper even if the interest rate slightly dearer.

I'm confused - our lawyers told us Cajamar Bank, held the developers mortgage for phase 4. We have applied to Cajamar for mortgage, we have been told there will be no valuation fee as they hold developers mortgage? (We are using Cajamar in Fuengirola). ?????

We were told also Cajamar by our solicitor. When it came to the signing of stuff at the bank they realised the error.Confirmed with lawyer and cajamar that cam bank are 1 to 4 and 5 to 11 is cajamr.

We are in Block 11 and the developers mortgage is with La Caixa. They phoned me up about two weeks ago to see if we wanted their mortgage. The guy was called Tom,(Spanish with excellent English). We are not taking this as our mortgage is already in place but he said if we want any further details they are situated opposite the Hotel Torrequebrada. All blocks seem to be financed by different banks but certainly La Caixa and Cajamar are involved.
