Hi all
have just returned from Spain we were on a cruise then 3 days in Barcelona then onto our apartment in Oropesa. We had gone into Castellone for the day, in one of the retail carpark's we had gone back to our hire car, a man in his car pointed out that our tyre on the off side rear was flat. We then proceded to change it as we were just about finished, he returned he never got out of the car. He said that there was a place to the right of the car that we could get the repair done. We thanked him as I opened the car I realised that my bag was gone. We lost everything!! Passport, credit cards, mobile phone, camera, video camera. We had the 2 cameras in the bag as we had been to a festival in the morning. We lost not only material things but all the footage of Rome, Monte Carlo, Barcelona we then had to spend two hours in the police station. Then the problem of sorting out the card situation the passport and to crown it all they had knifed the tyre which cost us 102.00 euro to replace. So if this should happen to you
please make sure that you lock the car door before fixing the tyre.
