Hi
I have crticised Taray in the past but credit where credit is due. Our agent has gone bust (Viva Estates- now trading under a similar but different name/company) so I emailed Teresa at the sales office if she could take a couple of photos to show how phase 2 is developing. Within a few days she had emaild back the 3 photos i have posted on the photos page. Good quality and taken from within the building site (hope she had a hard hat and water proofs on). It is hard to get inside the building complex for pics just now.
They now have a finish date for approx. June next year. Lets hope the euro falls against the pound and gets above 1.40 to the £

That phase is flying up. Each time i drive past.... which is everyday, its moved on. Even my daughter said .... there getting on with that mum.
They have started on the scruffy area next to the pool, opposite phase 2. Where will the footie matches be now???????
If they carry on the way they are that will all be finished in no time.
i notice roof terraces on these houses, did i notice right???

Hi Tina
Do you mean the "scruffy area" near the school? Next to the municipal pool? If so, do you know what is going to be built there?
Yes you did notice roof terraces on phase 2 - the townhouses will have them.
They are certainly working hard to catch up on the delay, and lets hope they start on the pool and sports facilities soon too !
Have they started building on the large commercial site yet? It was all cleared and ready when we were over in August.
Any new photos of the site and surrounding area will be really appreciated.
Thanks
Carol

Hi ,we went for a walk over the football site and found they had dug a deep trench and installed a rather large pipe,i presume its for the sewer for phase two. They have also cleaned up the area a little .
we have also noticed the frame work for buildings going up on the commercial site near the bridge although this seems very slow progress to whats happening on phase two of the taray site, this changes day by day.
Also at the back of phase one, where the pool is supposed to be going, they have pulled the liner out of the reservoir and building materials are starting to appear??????
Hope this info helps, does anybody else know whats going on???????
Regards,Steve and Anita.

Hi Colin
I saw your photos before I read your post and wondered how you managed to get such good access.
Hope all goes well with your new agent. Good to see you in positive frame of mind, not going to get carried away about the Euro yet though.

Hi There - I am afraid that the last 2 photo's are already out of date. We returned from sc yesterday and the old reservoir is almost completely filled in and the steel frame on the commercial site is almost totally cladded.
It was the first time we had seen sc since March and were very pleased with all that we saw on Phase one with all the green areas mapped out and nearly completed with plants. Work on phase two continues at a pace with a lot of the surrounding ground works in place. It was nice to look out of the Villa and not be met with a wire cage and the crane. The two new items we wanted Taray to attend to were done within the week.
The 'football field' next to the scholl is being transformed. All the old buildings have been flattened ready for a new building. Yes Phase one pool is still a promise and I had the feeling that Taray are begining to loose patience with the Town Council and suspect we will here something within the next month as to what the 'plans' are.
The other good news was the better rate of exchange, chelsea won 5 nil and The Ryanair flight to Bournemouth arrived 30 minutes early. However the Habitation Licence we received raised a query as to our Post Code. The License said 30591 other paper work says it should be 30592. No doubt the mail service will sort it out before this starts we are told by Christmas. Can't waite for the next 5 weeks to fly by when we shalll be out again.

Hi Trevor and Jenny
What a reassuring and happy message. It has been a long time since Colin and I have been in SC (due to family commitments) and we cannot wait to get out there and see it all for ourselves.
Gill and Colin.

AlaNicki,
Thanx for posting the photos, My god 16th Sept this year seems a lifetime ago when I see your pictures. When we first bought ours in Sept on phase one [quad villa] there was the minimum of work completed on phase two. Hopefully come May 2009 and again hoping we sell ours here sooner rather than later we will be out there enjoying a new life, thanks again much appreciated.
