Hi all
First visit out last week to condado, how impressive is the place ?
Have got 3 quotes in at 3600 to 3900 euros for hot/cold inverter air con systems into a 3 bed at Jardines, seems to be a mix of options 4 with 1, 4 with 2, even 4 with 4. Has anyone got theres installed and woking and is very happy with it ? If so what make and who installed it for you ?
Thanks in advance
Pete

Hi Pete,
I am using Gary from Polar air also, he will be installing mine this week. I am going for pansonic e -ion invertors multi split hot/cold. I have a 3 bedroom but only getting lounge and 2 of the bedrooms done as Gary said that the 12000 btu unit installed in the lounge will circulate enough hot/cold air will heat the bedroom if you leave the door open. I am going for 3 interior and 2 exterior, cost 2550 with surge protector

Hi Pete
I agree with Graham, Garry Leggett is the man for the job, I am using him and I know a number of others on Condado that have used him and are very happy with his work and installation.

Hi Pete
I agree with the other posters. I used Gary at Polarair. Installation was very neat and tidy. No deposit was requested - the aircon was installed in my absence at the start of the month and I settled up with him last week when I was out at the apartment. I had the Panasonic E-ion inverter units installed (3 indoor, 2 outdoor for the 2 bed apartment), and used them for the first time last week. These units have a quiet mode, which makes them almost inaudible when sleeping. Very pleased with them.
Regards
Michael

Hi Pete
Can definitely recommend Gary at Polarair. He installed ours on the 13th August, the week before we went out to Spain. We went for the Panasonic E-Ion inverter units and they are excellent - the weather in August was very hot and the apartment was lovely and cool. We just paid Gary when we arrived at Condado.
My husband is an air conditioning engineer in the UK and had a good look at the installation when we got there - he was very satisfied. The work had been done neatly and the external units had been wall-mounted. A couple of the apartments near ours had their air-con installed by Air Carthage (or something like that) - and it was terrible. The pipes were twisted, very visible, had not been lagged and the external units were stood on the floor. Apparently, external units should be wall mounted to allow a free flow of air all around them - according to the expert! We have assumed that Air Carthage is the company used by PW for installation as when we visited our apartment on 2nd June to do the snagging, the apartment next door to us had their units in already and as no completions had taken place at that time, it could only be that the air con had been installed by PW. And the price they were offering was far higher than Gary's price.
Hope this helps.
