I curently advertise my property with Holiday Lettings but am not entirely happy with them.

Can anybody else that rents their property recommend any other companies that they use and are satisfied with

Dave

I use them too Dave and have found the "footfall" since February to be very disappointing for what I believe is a lot of money. I am also registered with many different (free) sites and have got no results from any of them, instead getting rentals from word of mouth and using Spanish sites (all our guests this year were Spanish). If your Spanish is up to scratch, or you have someone that can manage your bookings for you, I would suggest that is the best option.

At the end of the day, although we all believe our prices are reasonable, they can become very expensive once you factor in flights and car hire, etc. At least the Spanish only have to pay for their petrol.

would be very grateful for any information.

The problem with having someone translate is it costs! If you already have tight margins (as I do with a 1 bed), the fee can make quite a dent in any rentals you may get. The usual charge is about 10% of the rental. I have a lady that translates our enquiries for us, but as she approached me rather than the other way around, I can't give details. Maybe your keyholders would be able to help? I know two of the keyholding businesses that operate in Thalassa speak Spanish and at least one of them offers a rental service.
