As part of our mortage we have to take insurance out with a company of their choosing for the first year. We have been sent a form to fill in and was wondering if anybody had the answers to the following?
1. Is condado classed as a town centre or rural?
2 Is the fire brigade more than or less than 20 minutes from the town centre?
3. Is the construction of the 2 bed apartments solid with non-combustible materials?
4. Are there containment walls separate from the building?
5. Do we have reinforced doors?
6.Safety locks?
7. anti theft glass?
8. mallorcan shutters?
9. solid doors (wood, metal, PVC)?
10. bars on windows and accesses?
11. how much wood could a woodchuck chuck....

I know it's ridiculous, the mortgage is with lloyds and they have sent us a form with 'Liberty Seguros' on it. I'm scared that if I leave a load of sections blank they will just whack a big premium on us.

I would take Lisa advise and ask PW to answer these questions for you. Seems the most logical, as I wouldn't like to guess.

I think 1 or 2 of those questions are answered in the doct thats with the plans of the jardines or building plans of your apartment. I remember that many of us believed the apartments came with the fancy bathroom sink and wood effect pedastal cupboard, but it doesnt and on reading the various docts we had from initial signing and paying the deposit it told us we only got the white ceramic pedastal- it also talks about other building specs. I think it talked about doors and what the walls are made of if nothing else, and we know there are no windows grills.

Don't worry, I knew you weren't being sarcastic. I mailed polar bear world and they have passed my request on to customer services. I also got threatened with the legal department again because I haven't set a completion date yet even though I only received my COH on Tuesday.

Ooch dont be to worried about the legal department, they just want money! They gave us a date of 15th of August to be at the notery and we hadnt even goten our mortage approved!!!  so I got in touch with them and they changed it for the 15th of Sept. We finally completed on the 3rd of Oct!!!
Hopefully CS will get the finger out and get a reply to u soon enough. Thankfully CAM organished the insurance for us and all we had to do was decide wheither to go for payment of full morgage or half and then sign

quick update; I got some answers off polaris world
1. Is condado classed as a town centre or rural? If you refer to the land, it is urbanizable, but Condado de Alhama is not classified as a city, therefore the answer would be rural.
2 Is the fire brigade more than or less than 20 minutes from the town centre? Less than 20 minutes away.
3. Is the construction of the 2 bed apartments solid with non-combustible materials? The material of the exterior walls and the floors are non-combustible .
4. Are there containment walls separate from the building? No.
5. Do we have reinforced doors? The entrance door.
6.Safety locks? Yes.
7. anti theft glass? The glass next to the entrance door.
8. mallorcan shutters? No.
9. solid doors (wood, metal, PVC)? Wood.
10. bars on windows and accesses? No.
