I have written, spoke , emailed Procumasa about snags and i am getting no joy being refered to see my solicitor in order to get things done, has anyone else having problems with them?

I understand only the foreman and a labourer are on site.

Procumasa do have an obligation to do snags and major repairs on properties within their first year.

It looks like a delaying tactic to me.

It may cost you to get your solicitor involved, I'm sure they know it may be less expensive to pay to have the work done privately or DIY!

They appear to only have one building team on site, working on about five new starts - one after the other! I dread to think what completion dates they are (not) working towards.

There are still potential customers being shown around - so there is some money out there!!

Most of our snags have been repaired, only couple left, which can only be fixed when we are next over, all in all are very pleased with the build and finish.

It's on a shop window at the commercial centre. I'll send you details when I'm down that way!

Even the new builds have ground to a halt.

The sales office has gone into winter openening hours mode - mornings only.

Hello,

We are waiting since september last year and Beatriz wrote:  " I am afraid we can not finished yet because I have not any worker available to do it. We will try to resolve the soon as possible ".

Information from Procumasa website:

Procumasa has always been guided by the Values that are fundamental in the development of its work:

  • Professionalism
  • Integrity, Warranty and Transparency during the transaction
  • Commitment to the environment, the people and the community
  • Solvency
  • Commitment to Service

I'm sure that the 'bottom line' is that Procumasa have no money to pay for the work to be done.

Clearly they took our money, made a profit from us all and now would like us to go away! Unfortunately their " values" only extend to their web site!

I hope the committe of residents bear that in mind when they are asked to accept assurances from Procumasa regarding the completion/repair of the infrastructure of the urbanisation.

Procumasa wrote us by mail on the 20th of June that they restarted to work on the snags in Las Kalendas.

Has anybody see some results?

Regards,

Ruud Pellegrom.

As LAM1963 says there is no obvious signs of snags being done.

One person has been given the materials to do it himself.

My next door neighbours moved in a couple of weeks ago and they were told there were no builders to do their snags. They are now having to pay another builder to do some of it.

There has been a team laying footpaths in seemingly pointless places - whilst two residential roads remain unsurfaced.

Procumasa wrote to us:

" Now, we have already re-started to work on the snags, and also on the roads and urbanization issues, but obviously, we are not as quick as we would like to be.  Because obviously, we have many delayed things to do now. So, the only thing we can do is asking you, once again, to be a little bit more patient. We are so sorry for all the inconveniences we are causing you".

Maybe there is only one worker for doing snags? We have little choise to accept this situation and we are very disapointed in the after sales/service (not) supplied. As soon as we can inform this forum further, please let it know here.

Greetings,

PS

Sorry for our language but we are from Holland.

The question should be we were sold these property ith a guarantee for 10 years who and where do we go to get something done on this guarantee.

Do we have a guarantee or is this something else that that Procumasa have not paid for.

We need a community barrister who will push for Procumasa to get things done if not they should be pushes into bankruptcy.

There's an interesting piece in this week's Costa Blanca News about expats suing a building company who is part of the MASA group for breach of contract  - and winning in the Courts.  This was for not finishing their off plan properties on time and they were ordered to return the money.  Not quite the same as our situation but worth looking at.

Procumasa wrote to us some weeks ago: " Now, we have already re-started to work on the snags, and also on the roads and urbanization issues, but obviously, we are not as quick as we would like to be.

The boss in charge about the snags etc. is, concerning the information of the ladies, J.Grau but he does not speak English.

Has anybody seen results in Las Kalendas this month ?

Regards,

Ruud

To be honest the only obvious work going on are repairs to the pools - although they are not open for the residents to use.

There has been some path laying going on but that is mainly in areas where they are not really needed.

I think there is supposed to be one builder working on site but I'm not sure what he is doing. I often hear people say they are still waiting for their snags to be done - some after three years!

Three years waiting for the snags? So they wait allready from a time there were enough workers? How is that possible?

In September we are waiting for one year and it depends on the results this year before we will prosecute them for not doing the snags and we will demand for penalties. NO MERCY. In the meantime they will receive my bill for doing some works myself.

We all together can travel to the office in Torrevieja and stay there till we will get our rights. We paid for it!!

About the swimmingpools. Is the swimmingpool near the mainroad out of order?
