Could anyone please recommend a centrally located hotel in Puerto de Mazarron. Coming out for a girlie weekend with my daughter in a couple of weeks and she wants to stay somewhere with shops, bars etc with walking distance. Thought about renting on Condado but think it may be a bit quiet.
Any Suggestions?

Hi Lisa,
Another recommendation for La Cumbre from me & Mrs Welshwizard.
It might be a bit quite around the seafront at this time of year, but I'm sure there will be enough for you girlies to do.
Hope you both have a great time.

Hi Lisa,
Hotel Cumbre is good but not for a girlie weekend as the place was dead when we were there in October as was Pt de Mazarron. Would agree with george you need to go somewhere with a wee bit happening and that is certainly not la Cumbre hotel.

Hi Lisa, I'm afraid It's out of season at this time of year for Spain and especially for smaller sea side towns like Puerto de Mazarron. There will probably not be one busy bar in the whole town until the season starts again. I too liked Hotel la Cumbre, but it's only for relaxing and no night life to shout about whatsoever.
I stayed in Los Alcazares several months ago, which is a 50 minute drive away from Puerto de Mazarron and I really enjoyed it but that was still in the holiday season and I'm unsure what it's like now.
As George suggested, you might need to go to more Tacky Towns like Benidorm at this time of year, to get some more night life. Regards. Geoff.

You all need to come on a Tapas Crawl with me - Pto de Mazarron dead - you must be kidding. I can only assume you´re all in bed by 9:30pm with your cocoa. Agreed, if you want Kariokee & Kiss me Quick Hats, then Benidorm is the place, but for a tocuh of real Spain, check out the bars around the indoor market in the Puerto - drink with locals & enjoy varied tapas.Bar Luis in Mazarron near the indoor markets is normally heaving & the variaety of Tapas is amazaing, I even think there´s a disco near Hotel Costa.
I stayed at Hotel Le Cumbre at the begining of October - Saturday night B&B for 2 people & payed 50€. Last week I was looking for some customers & the prices are even better - some nights 35€ B&B for 2 poeople !!!

Hi All,
Thanks for your recommendations for La Cumbre, that was the one I was looking at but was unsure about what was open at this time of year around the port. George, I think I will be giving Benidorm a miss not my cup of tea. I wasn't looking for night clubs, just a few bars and restaurants that will be open, within walking distance so that I can have a drink or few without driving. We haven't completed yet, so thought it was going to be the last opportunity to stay in a hotel and get waited on hand and foot for a couple of days. As I am going to be having a nosey around Condado, I would prefer to stay not too far out.

Hi, we just stayed in La Cumbre last month for a couple of nights and found it to be perfect for what we were needing. We paid only about 35 Euros a night for a double room including breakfast on hotels. com.
