Future polaris plans on Condado

Open Question

Who has accurate information on Polaris plans for the next couple of years?

Lots of speculation on when or if the faro will be built in it's original location.

When will the main town be built?

different opinions when golf will be available to use

No more appartments to be built until some facilities are in use. Does that include the golf suites? does that include the millionair's villas?

Has anyone got some clout with the officials at Polaris to get some acuarate information? surely some one has...

To be honest, I don't think anyone knows what's going on. I am buying through a PW partner and he has said that when they first started selling the appartments for PW they seemed to be informed exactly what was happening and they had quite a lot of clout with PW. Now things are being completed plus the economic downturn, PW seems to have distanced themselves from the agents as well as their customers.....that's us buyers !

Due to what's going on I personally believe that PW have a plan A then change to plan B to suit themselves and the current situation. What they seem to be doing at the moment appears to be making economic sense but I do hope that they still stay true to making Condado a complex that is a level above the others, both in quality and facilities.

as an agent polaris have informed me that the foro will be finished before end of january and is now situated between jardines 13 and the golf appts.

the golf course has 4 practise holes open from january.they hope to have 9 holes open on course from april with it fully opened by august.work on course 2 will then commence.

the detached villas are on hold but they hope to put them  between jardines and golf course but thus is at least 2 years away.

all the appts currently in construction will be completed but no more new work will start until buyers return.the reason for this is no one is bying at full asking price as it is possible to buy from agents such as myself at discounted prices due to non completions.

After three attempts to get into the penthouse show apartment and a heated debate with the customer service rep, we where shown around by a very talkative and informative gentleman who was also very enthusiastic about the development and wasn’t needing any prompting to give an update on progress.

1. Golf course to be completed May 2009 and playable August 2009.
2. Second golf course to be laid out May 2009.
3. Foro expected to be completed in May 2009.
4. Next to the foro is a sports area with 2 x seven a side football pitches, cricket pitch and bowling green.
5. The public area out with the perimeter fence, a decision will be made in Jan 2009, but he thinks they will be starting with the government office first. The plans are also for Medical Centre, Fire Station, Sports Facilities, and School.
6. No mention of OASIS.
7. Plans are still for golf club house in between the penthouses, was a little confused when this was expected to start as he talked about a temporary clubhouse (Breakdown in Language Barrier)
8. Further access gates to open November 2008.

From the info you have been given two things worry me. One, the reluctance for PW to commit to when the Clubhouse will be built, the other the Oasis. Both these were key factors to people buying into this resort and I will be more happier when they eventually start these two projects. At least then we will all be relieved that, after a few changes, the overall concept of Condado will be delivered.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if Polaris formaly notified their clients of their plans to avaoid speculation and rumours

We love our apartment and are eager to see the resort develope into the 5 star resort Polaris promised 2 years ago.
