Mogan look-alike

I'm still on the bandwagon to create another Mogan( Gran Canaries) with the traditional houses covered in Bouganville.  Lidl is selling garden auto-watering systems for £12.99, so no excuse for all you absent owners.

We go to Gran Canaria every January for 2 weeks, it is a beautiful place, we originally wanted to buy one of the houses near the marina but they were only flats and they cost around £350,000 pounds, its the location, but I think San Juan could be just as good - all we need is a marina.  I have bought my first bougenvillia, it is now on the roof terrace, we bought an automatic watering system which works from the tap on the roof. 

Have uploaded some photos of Puerto Morgan and a few of Cala Blanca where we stay, it is near Taurito.

Hi Mavis and Bill, Jim would agree with you about the marina.  Even some moorings on the east of the bay?  The new marina on the way into Aguilas should be good once they've finished.  We usually head for Fuerteventura in February but we thought we'd give Aguilas carnival a try next year and we'll be planting out bougainvilla while we are out.  The little walkways in Ph 1 and 2 will look fantastic in summer.
