MAPFRE WHATS THIS?

Has anyone that has completed received a brochure of imformation for the property. It looks like a rules and regs book.  Its all in Spanish,  does anyone know what its for cos this is the second one that I have received in ten days.  It is called MAPFRE SEGUROS GENERALES.

this has something to do with Home insurance, at least it was for us.

Not sure what Mapfre means (I think it is the companies name) but the other translates to Sure General, so it sounds like something to do with insurance to me?  

We have not received it in the post though, so it might be a suggestion to either speak to your bank or solicitor?

MAPFRE is one of the biggest insurers in Spain.

You see a lot of offices for them in the main cities. Parador have been pushing them quite a lot as well - we've had a fair few leaflets.

They price very competitivley but we found that they didn't respond to enquiries. As that was before they got the money off you it didn't seem to bode well for any claims / enquiries you may have after you take a policy out.

Have got insurance from my bank solbank very reasonable and all in english  so if thats what it is why dont they send it in english. Thanks guys.
