Hi ya'all
A lot of water has flown into the sea since I started to post in this discussion forum. A lot of uppers and downers, yes, but I have always tried to stay on the positive side.
After all this back and forth with all discussions we have had regarding Trampolin Hills, Grupo Trampolin, The council of Campos del Rio, us – the customers, I must say that we have all reached a point where we need to think in a different direction. But I would hope that we could stop the self-pity and anger and try to be constructive, concrete and fair. as Al Capone said: "You get further with a gun and a smile, than just a gun"..
The main reason why I think differently now is NOT because all the problems with delays, political mumble jumble, missing info from GT, bad press, etc. I personally do not blame anyone, but myself.
The reason is the general market situation now! In Spain – and in the rest of the world. This has made me realize that his project really should be stopped.
It is now possible to buy a finalized house/apartment in Spain for less than we have in our contracts - just consider the number of un-sold houses in Spain.
I do not know the status or the financial status of Grupo Trampolin, but I think it is wise now, to do up the maths, and see what could be done with regards to payback of the money to the customers.
GT must now act on the bank guarantees, pay the money back to their customers and finally put the project on hold and wait for better times.
If we are forced to end this ball in court we will only find ourselves spending the money and even more money funding the court system in Spain, including lawyers on both sides.
I guess some of us could evaluate different solutions to our common challenge (like getting a house in return instead of the money) but in all fairness, I recommend that the solution should be uniform - the same solution for all customers.
So please Grupo Trampolin, AMGA2, Antonio, or whoever reads this:
The time has now come to negotiate and find solutions instead of clinging to an idea of a dream that nobody wants anymore and has turned into a nightmare for all of us – even for you.
And finally to Antonio:
I salute your ambition of giving people houses – but that is houses that they really want – not houses to those struggling with their economy due to global crisis and the project delays.
Please revert to us with a proposal for a different solution for us, the customers of the TH project.
