getting to valencia from roda

Hi i was just wondering has anyone either drove or gotten the train to valencia and if so which is the best way to get there and how long would it take in a car or train

 I can give you an estimation of  around 2 1/2 hours by car , this is based on me driving from denia to Roda which took me 1 1/2 hours & denia is around an hours drive from Valencia.

 A train journey would i imagine be more relaxing ,but  i don't have any info on that.

I think there may be a train from Lorca that goes up to Montpelier in France stopping at Barcelona, not sure if Valencia is also a stop.

I would allow up to 3 hours driving and bear in mind the A7 is at it's busiest around Valencia

                    The car journey takes about 2-30 hours if roads are ok. The nearest train station is in Murcia town wich will take you about 45 min to get to. The train takes about the same time as the car as it stops at most of the stations along the way. Don't know if the high speed trains goes from Murcia. Hope this helps.
