update on utd golf

hi i was wondering has anyone been over in the resort recently, have we a bar yet, do we know if there wil be any shops or restaurants openinf for  the summer. can someone give us directions to the indian and chinese restaurant that is appartently great value.finally does anyone know were i could go to buy a car something not very expensive.  ruth b

WE LIVE ON SIERRA GOLF WHICH IS ONLY A FEW MINS FROM YOU.

THERE IS A LITTLE SPAR SHOP OPEN NEXT TO YOUR TENNIS COURT , NOT SURE IF YOU HAVE A BAR OPEN BUT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET A DRINK IN THE CLUB HOUSE.

WE HAVE USED THE CHINESE & INDIAN RESTURANT , DIRECTIONS ARE  , ON THE WAY BACK TO BALSICAS IF YOU LOOK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE DUAL CARRIAGE WAY , YOU WILL SEE A INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, THE INDIAN & CHINESE ARE THERE, { YOU CAN NOT MISS IT }... REGARDS ROB/SUE..

Hi Ruth

We are living on UGR and the clubhouse is  open but not in the evening as yet.  The bowling green and tennis courts are open and very shortly the bar there will be open as well.   We have just bought a car they are more expensive than we thought over here, but we are pleased with the car and service we received from B Smart cars on the N332 just outside Torrevieja. 

val thanks for the update you lucky thing living the dream. we are going over for a weekend in feb and then again for a week at easter, cant wait. would love to meet up just to get the low down on whats in the area, where the markets are what to do at night, good restaurants and where to look for a car. if your interested let me know.my husband loves golf and maybe you could tell him about the fees of other places to play golf. thanks again ruth b

I have uploaded a few photo`s from the recent visit imade to UGR La Tercia, these are of the 2nd phase apartments M20 and M22.

There is a great community spirt at La Tercia and we have had a few social gatherings over the last few years even before the development was completed and we also had a social event last October 

There are a number of other owners around , and plenty of information on the golf course fees and places of interest someone may like to point you in the right direction or you can email me on latercia1@googlemail.com

we were at the party in october, still have the hangover great night. its a pity about la tercia real it would have been nice to have neighbours.really looking forward to spending the summer in united golf.do you by any chance know were we could get our hands on a second hand car?

We are happy to share our experiences with you but we have only been over here for 5 weeks and so are still finding our way around, and aren't golfers I'm afraid.
