I wish I'd never gotten into this mess with Amarion III, can't even bear to hear the name anymore.  It was October 2002 when the reservation was made, one of the first few. At that time there was an office in Essex who you could contact, now nothing as it closed a year or so later. All that's needed is peace of mind. Along the way there's been 2004, 2005, 2006, and now 2007 building completion dates. Not even sure if there's to be a fitted kitchen in the place IF IT EVER GETS FINISHED.Does anyone know for sure that we would get our money back if say by February they are still not building, it's understood they SHOULD pay what's already been paid in plus the annual percentage rate, but will they?

I think you will get your money back after a bit of a fight . I think you would have to take them to court and you will need a spanish lawyer ( court and lawyer fees ) dont know if you will have to pay the fees it may not be like it is over here were if you win they pay !! dont know

Also if you do this you will lose out on how much it as gone up over the years and they will be able to sell it for more money to someone else when it is finally finished

when i went over to spain in 2003 looking for properties there was someone there that said they was waiting a year and half longer they said the spanish are very slow just hoping it will be done in time for summer 2007 , we have waited so long i think it's worth hanging on to.

In our contract they do have up to January 2007 so really they are only a bit behind if it's done for say June thats only 5 months behind which i suppose is ok after what that woman told me back in 2003  and we may even get compensated ya never know

Philansy..thanks for moral support.  This is such a nightmare isn't it?  Do you happen to know what the score is regarding the underground parking and storerooms? It seems some have paid, some not, another ???

I can't see them paying compensation as if they'd known at the outset how late the build was going to be they would surely not have released them for sale until much later.

I THINK EVERYONE WHO AS THE CAR PARK AND STORE ROOMS HAVE PAID ALLREADY I GOT MINE WHEN I PURCHASED THE APARTMENT AND THE LAST I HEARD THEY STILL HAD SOME TO SELL

IF YOU WANT ONE OF THESE I THINK I WOULD BE QUICKI WOULDNT WANT THEM ALL TO GO AND BE STUCK WITHOUT ONE !!

I hope you had a good xmas despite all the problems.  We have now contacted an independant solicitor to make an appointment when we are out there in February 2007 (we thought they were going to be finished).  If we get an appointment I will fill you on on the advise we get.
