Has anyone on phase1 been given a definite date for completion of their houses yet? Also anyone got any information about the problem with the building licences. Would appreciate any news.

Hi Everyone
As Jordy mention there is an update on the Finca Parcs website and some fantastic pictures. They do say the last of the Town Hall inspections are due to be completed this week and they have requested a special plnning meeting to speed through the COH. So we should have some movement soon .
More importantly everyone look at the pictures . These houses are real and just waiting to be enjoyed.
Let's hope it won't be much longer .
Just give a thought for the buyers at San Jose near Jummilla . As i understand nothing is being built , they have paid 40% deposits and the developer looks like going into administration. I personally looked at this development and after the long wait and rumours nearly pulled out of FP and bought there. Looks like I made the right decision now .

Hi John,
Yes I agree the photos on the update on the main FP site look very good, love the cobbled roads and street lighting. The colours of the houses look very sweet too, would be amazing to spend balmy evenings on the porch during the long summer months.
However, its a shame that there is no chance of getting the dream any time soon as there is stil the problem with the electric cabling being completed in the ground and water mains being completed. The 20 something kms of services from the town may take some time as that may be included in the appeal process, probably.
As for the appeal, we really need to ensure its cleared before anyone moves in even if the local council issue Licence of Occupancys - its the higher courts that have voided the licences until the implementation of further paperwork from the environmental departments, listen, we must just ensure all legal poblems are complete before finalising any paperwork as it will come back to haunt everyone should we fail to carry out proper due dilligence at this stage.
Im sure a couple of extra months waiting and checking with the solicitors and legal team etc will pay off before handing over any completion money.

Hi all, I have just got back from a very interesting trip, everything was looking great on the first part of the site, loads of properties finished both large and small, they were marking the roads when we were there ! Lots of cleaning up going on and everything loooked neat and tidy. We were told that all the mains services were in place and had been tested over last weekend. I think the information that we have just received from the developer was expalining what they had to do not what they have to do ! Lets hope these certificates are issued sometime soon, I think that may help to eleviate concerns as I cant see the town hall issuing them if everything was not in order ! On another note, the area was looking amazing, never seen the lake look so good, we could actually see it from the site. The little village along the road was having a bit of carnival on friday, all the kiddies parading along the street dressed up and having fun, really nice atmosphere we were warmly welcomed in the bar half way along the main road. You make a valid point about the water main being part of the environmental assessment as it almost certainly will be.
Another consideration is, even if all the neccessary permissions were in place and work started today, installing a 27 KM water pipe will probably take a couple of years and cost millions of euros. If the developer doesn't have the funds for this in his budget, or goes out of business, the site will be left to rely on imported water.
The same situation applies to the burying of the cable and the construction of the commercial centre.

You have all missed the point here, all this work is already completed , I rang the devolpers head office yesterday and mentioned that the latest information they sent out seemd to have confused a few into thinking all this work still had to be done, thats not the case they explained that they only put out the information because a couple of people had commented on how long it seemed to take to get the certifcates to be able to move into the houses issued. Is there anyone left out there that is actually looking forward to moving into a property other than me and my partner ?? Alex

As explained on the other thread if the COH is issued then the infrastructure has to be finished and in place
