supermarket

Does anyone know if the supermarket over at Jardines will remain open after the Foro is complete or is it going to move over to the Foro?

Hi,

We were out last week & our understanding is that the current supermarket is temporary & will close when the Foro is up & running.

I guess we will have to wait & see............

On a plus point, the Foro is being put up at a fair rate of knots so hopefully we will have a bar soon whose interior doesn't resemble the inside of a fridge

We were told in January that the supermarket will become a Gym

Not too sure how reliable the info is.

We were told this by one of the workmen in broken english & a lot of arm waiving.

Having said that, his english was a dam sight better than my spanish.

Must get some lessons or dust of my linguaphone cd`s

Hi Cherrie

I am on the understanding that if the temporary supermarket in Jardines 6 is used enough after the Foro opens pw will consider keeping a supermarket in that area. Whether in the same place or somewhere where the original Foro was going to be.

So I reckon all us around there should try and use it as much as possible .

The reason I ask is that my in laws are coming over with us in the summer and my father in law wants to be within walking distance of a shop so that he can get his morning paper!

What Jardine are you on?  Because I don't think it is that too long a walk from any of the Jardines. Either going through the gardens or on the inner road.

We've actually just completed Block 2 penthouses, which is too far to walk to the Foro anyway.

...for what it's worth, the walk from Jardine 3 to the Foro is about 20 mins

Hopefully somewhere by then will actually sell newspapers because at mom nearest place to get any is Camposol. 

Oh dear!!  I know my father in law is fit for his age (81), but I don't think he's up to walking to Camposol every morning! I do hope we can get them at a PW shop by the summer.
