I usually use Auriga Crown when i come over for a 5 door compact. They are usually the best price and the cars are clean and the staff ok.
This last time i came over I needed an MPV as i was carrying cases and bikes. I tried the link on this site and the 'best deal' was goldcar.
It was advertised at €131 for a MPV/Zafira. Just what i wanted.
I arrived at allicante (EJ cheaper than RA) and offered a & seat Chrysler Journey.
Bill made up as follows
€131 car hire
€97 yes €97 for full tank of fuel
I queried it and was told that was thier cost and to bring it back empty.
(at Auriga crown for same size tank 60l it you are charged €55)
I got to the car and had problems starting it (in the end you press the clutch!!!!) then noticed the €97 fuel was actually only half full. By this time my daughter was getting frantic looking after the cases etc so i didnt call til the next day .Usual story should have called etc etc.
So be warned.
Check the fuel charges before you book
