hi dave
welcome to the forum there seems to be no official news, last year in the press it was said to be this march. every dead line seems to come and go. apparently the pgou is still being agreed with the junta, ( the junta has agreed plan is ok )the mayor is trying to include more properties that were on the junta's bulldozer list. in the recent copy of www.surinenglish.com the article talks about september for the full approval and rubber stamping of the pgou.
i think we will have to put the party on hold for now, but it seems we are in the plan, pennoyra has agreed tterms with the council and we just need the junta to stop playing god.
best wishes james

Hi there,
I have been an owner at Amatista block A since 2003. Does the license problem relate to the whole of the Reserva complex or is it just Manzana. A friend who also owns informs me that Amatista does have a license, but I'm not sure.
Any information would be helpful.

Hi Niel
Your best bet is to contact your urbanisation President and ask him. However watch this space there are a couple of contributors who are also in Amatista so you may get a reply on here.

Thanks John,
My Lawyer in Marbella tells me that the license is being dealt with like yours under the great plan of things.
One owner in Amatista is informed by his lawyer that the license was agreed at the time of building in 2002.
I dont think anyone knows for sure.
Neil.

Hi,
there is an article in "Typically Spanish" dated Jun 17th 2009 which seems hopeful. Whether approval materialises for next month- well we will just have to wait and see.

if you read the surinenglish article we could be in for a long wait...... the junta has to approve the changes that munoz is placing in the pgou, ie to include banana beach. so the ping pong match will continue i fear for some time. still least we have something to go to unlike many up and down the coast. i really don't understand why this has to take so long. !!!!!!!!!.
and in another aricle the junta have only got to "B" in the alphabet checking illegal builds in the malaga province, so god help us, they certainly don't rush things in spain.... apart from bills!!!!
best wishes everyone james

hi balzac
I have been told pennoyrra has already done a deal and given land to the town council. There are many folks that like to run an urbinsation down to depress values for there own interest. Yes La RESERVA has issues but so does every community, but when you walk around the gardens look good and all the holiday rents i have ever meet in the pool are always impressed. i have heard many horror stories of other urbinisations. Prices are down because of the lack of licenses, lack of trust in the legal system in spain, lack of trust in the junta not changing there mind when it pleases them, the horror stories of lack of human rights of british buyers in spain, too many appartments and still building in estapona and sotogrande!!!! Take a drive up the hill at river sol and ask your self when are all those appartments ever going to be sold, the list goes on........rant over
We have a great development everyone should enjoy it and hopefully in time prices will improve as confidence returns around the world.
i gather you can get a good deal on off plan in Egypt
best wishes to everyone
