We are now wondering about selling our apartment (No.10 Block 1), but not sure yet.  We have a furniture package in storage (we hope!!).  It's been so long now, as we were one of the early signers, that the dream begins to fade and circumstances change.  Is anyone else in this situation - anyone interested in buying another apartment - or anyone got any information they feel would be helpful?  We have contacted Viva and they advised waiting until completed and furnished - anyone know different?

We take this opportunity of wishing all FSA patient purchasers a very Happy and Prosperous New Year with all your dreams coming true!!

Hi Janice,

Personally I would say that hanging on until its all completed and straight would be the best option. I would have thought it would increase the selling price and  make it more appealling. We signed very early (November 2001) and it seems an eternity since we went through that. We also bought furniture out there way too early and can't even remember what we bought now........feels like it could be 1970's style!! Anyway it will be a nice surprise to see the furniture in place (if its still in storage!).

The feedback I've seen from others there is that its still a nice development, despite the issues. We should hold the developers to their commitments but also will have the opportunity as a community later to make sure that we get it the way that we want.

Might be worth sticking with it. Hopefully just the last few yards in the marathon to go!!!

I woudl definitely agree with Mark on this one - I'm not even sure how practical it would be to sell the apartments when there is no occupation license in place for the development and, having displayed the great patience that everyone has shown so far (and I'm only a fairly recent signer, as of February 05 !), it does seem like we're now too close to the final stages to back out...

My two pesetas worth !

Hi all,

According to our lawyers we could 'sell' the apartment back to the developers, we would receive our original money back plus 6% compensation.  This would then allow the developers to resall the property, and as we were one of the first to reserve the developers would win!

We have also spoken to various real estate companies about resale prior to the licence and have been advised that it would not be impossible but very differcult.

Hold on!!!

Thank you for the replies.  It does seem, from all enquiries, that 'hanging on' is best.  We are all getting so good at it anyway!  Hope 2007 is going to be THE year for all of us!!
