Bridge Holmes Liquidation

Hi everyone

I have just been informed that Bridge Holmes has gone into liquidation. 

If this is true, then this may leave some of you with unresolved problems / issues left by Bridge Holmes - you may be sorting out burglaries or have got rentals booked.  You may need to get hold of keys or you may just need someone to have a look in on your property to check that it's still OK.  For anyone in this situation who is worried about their property, then Playa Golf Resorts has a director actually living on site and we will be happy to help in whatever way we can during this distressing time

For a number of reasons I need to verify this so can you please provude your source for this as there is nothing filed on record in the UK Courts for their registered office

I would love it if you could verify it - I have just been informed by a few of their clients - I don't know where they have their info from - if we could find out who their liquidators are then that would be great - i will do some digging today and come back with anything that i find

I know that if you ring the contact number you just get an answering machine referring you to a mobile for Simon Vickers but this doesn´t get answered

There is no filing in the uK pr Spain for bankruptcy yet

They just seems to have left people high and dry

Hi folks - I just talked to someone on PG who said that the couple who worked for Bridge Holmes at this end said they were having problems with Bridge Holmes and have put their own company's boards up on the Bridge Holmes properties - they are called Compass Properties.

I wonder if all the Bridge Holmes clients know about this?

 I have spoken to Compass today.

They were very helpful and confirmed BH went in to liquidation on 27 Mar.

I doubt we will get any monies owed from them back, but apparently the liquidators are to write to all clients.

This does confirm my concerns, I wasnt getting any responses from BH over the last few weeks.

Ive been looking in to moving from BH and wished I had done this early.

BH have registered under 2 seperate companys in the UK and Spain so it is worthing checking if they have both filed, the details on your contracts and who owes you the money

 we are registered with the UK company, ill read through the contract though.

hi, I joined this forum just to leave a reply, I have booked to stay at the Bhi Isamar park villas flying out on saturday, i got a phone call from my travel agent  yesterday to say they had gone into liquidation but offered us alternative accomodation at the playa golf 2, when i pointed out that it was the same company who owned both properties she explained that it wasnt BHI who had gone into liquidation but the hotelier of the isamar park himself.

Im not sure if this helps anyone but would be great if someone could check out for me if this is true.

If you go onto the bridge holmes international website, you should be able to access their forum - this has messages on it with regard to the BHI liquidation

All clients of BHI have received a letter from the STAFF of BHI stating that they have been forced to put the company into liquidation as the managing director - Simon Vickers - has embezzled company funds

I am not sure where this leaves you - I don't know what BHI's relationship was with the Isamar Park, but as far as Playa Golf is concerned, they were just the property managers so, I would imagine, that in the majority of cases, your booking would be with the owner, although BHI were overseeing it - have you paid money directly to BHI?

Hi Nikki,

Thank you for replying so promptly, I booked my holiday through the sunmaster website who were very helpfull and i now have had it confirmed last night  that we will be re-located to the Playa golf 2 and will be arriving late evening tomorrow night, talk about cutting it fine!.....lol,  I have been reading some of the threads on this forum and have to say i am really looking forward to coming over, it sounds like a very friendly and close knit community over there.

Hi Nikki I am trying to accesss our own playa golf forum  which I have done since you started it up some time ago but have encountered a password and username that has never been there before to gain access to the forum. I have had my place on playa golf 2 for over three years and this forum was excellent for keeping me up to speed with everything going on there whilst I am in England. Do you know how I can get back on as I dont recall giving a password at any other time to get on, cheers Wayne. P.S this was the only way I could think of contacting you.
