Following on from my last thread, we are now back from our all too brief sojourn to PP.
I must say, it was extremely quiet, most of the time. Not many people around, although there are several permanent residents in our block - 5. Also, lots of dogs in our block, but don't hear much from them.
Our main concern is that some dog owners cannot be bothered to walk out of the complex, turn right and exercise their dogs up the track! There is an owner of a small dog (I could tell by the size of the faeces!) who is not picking up their dog's poo from the pavement between block 4 & 5. Also, we saw another couple of residents walking their dogs round the perimeter of PP, without any sign of 'poop bags', so they could be doing it right under your windows - or ours! (The dogs, that is - not the owners!)
I shall be writing to P60, asking for a motion (pun!!) to be put forward that all dogs must be exercised off site, and permanent signs put up so that all dog-owner residents, whether temporary or permanent, have no excuse.
Apart from this, plus some tatty bits that P60 are trying to get the builders to come back and sort out (see last month's community minutes), we really like it there and wish we had more time (and money!) to make use of our 'investment'. We just hope that the outstanding hundreds of thousands of euros in community fees can be claimed back and spent on finally making Princess Park the luxury development it nearly is.
