Burglaries on Las Kalendas

Hi All,

Thought I would start a thread on the burglary situation. I was done on the night of the 17/2 - gained entrance via my patio doors in the garden which faces east out of the estate. Insurance claim ongoing but I have heard rumours that unless there is visible evidence of a break in - insurance will not pay out. Three weeks ago - some scroat nicked my LNB transponder from my dish - 2nd time - 1st time it was just bashed for the fun of it - we think we know who you are so watch your back - and your hands pal!!!!!! I hope the evening patrols continue and of course I wll do my bit whenever I am over - which is this weekend coming. I do want to thank the permies for the persistance in patroling the streets in my area - it does seem to be working.

Hi there all. Can any one update me if there is any truth that there has been more recent burglaries? The reason i ask at approx 5.30 am this morning wednesday 8th april 2009 i was alerted by my  alarm system. I immediately made my way to the front door and heard a vehicle driving away. i did not see the vehicle outside my property only heard a vehicle. This could be an innocent vehicle i heard but find at that time of the morning could be coincidental. I have checked my windows and doors but there is no sign of attempted breakin.

i have just visited a local bar and was informed that there was a breakin last night is there any truth behind the issue.
