Hi All

The urbanisation is starting to look very tidy now, all the roads were completed over the Christmas period: See Pics, We went over for a few days, it was very quiet not much open, sunny in the day, very cold at night, we explored Orihuela and found the recently completed shopping centre, it was very nice plenty of clothes shops for the women, and "you can even leave the husbands in the man crech whilst you shop" (the bars).

Hello everyone,

We have only just registered on this website although we have been owners since June 2006. We are currently using the apartment for holidays only with a view to moving out there next year.

We were last there at the beginning of December and it's great to see how things are now moving along, good to see that the roads are also going down since we left.

We really love it out there and have found everyone we have met so far very friendly indeed and although the breakins are a little bit worrying, it's just like here really you just have to take all the right precautions. We had grilles fitted last time we were there and now feel much better about leaving it.

Our apartment is on phase 2 on the north side overlooking phase 3 and we are on the first floor which we love, the solarium is a fantastic extra 'room', when we were there in late September/early October we spent nearly all our evenings up there barbecuing and generally relaxing.

The pizzeria in the village is very friendly, basic food but very reasonable priced. If you want something a bit more upmarket the German restaurant in Benferi is excellent.

We are out there again in about 4-5 weeks time and can't wait.

Val & Pete

Welcome Val & Pete

Nice to hear from someone already benefitting from the development. Our apartment is on phase 3 south facing on the ground floor, so will be facing yours. We are number 143, and are hoping that it will be compleated by the June target date.

We will be using it as a holiday home. I retire next year so will be out a lot more often and for longer periods with a view to moving there permanently if the development suits us.

We are out there for a week from the 25th February and we are getting our NEI number. Hope to see you both sometime.

Brian & Lorraine

Hi there Val & Pete,

Like Brian and Lorraine, we have purchased property on the 3rd phase - plot 130 - top end one, south facing (going to be hot eh?) and looking forward to its completion.  We were also out there early December - good weather too!  We also found everyone very friendly and welcoming on the site and in the village also.  We had great fun getting ourselves lost and finding other villages too.  It is so reassuring to learn that in general, most folk are happy with the developement.  I think that it benefits from being a small, quiet site in comparison with the sprawling mass down on the Orihuela Costa - which is nice in its own way, but a little on the busy side for us.

We initially intend to use ours as a holiday home, although Jim who is semi-retired, would cheerfully move out there now, I unfortunately am not in a position to give up work yet.  We are using this as a "toe in the water" to see if it is where we both want to retire to in the future.

Thank you for your post on this site, it is nice to hear from other like minded people.  Hope to see you later in 2007.

Cheers

Ellen & Jim

Hi all,

Just to let you know that if you want a really good map for the area, the Michelin Costa Blanca map 123 Zoom is really good and very detailed, it can be bought either over here or in Carrefour in Torrevieja.

Also if anyone requires grilles fitting we had a really good company do ours, they were really professional, quick, a good price and only took about an hour to do them. Also they are powder coated, not just painted so are also low maintenance. Just let us know if you want the details.

Regards to all our fellow owners.

Val & Pete
