thinking of buying

hi all

we are seriously thinking of buting a top floor apartment on thie Condado

there seems to be some good prices about  at the moment

any advice of who to buy of i.e straight from p.w or from a resale agent?

any info/advice would be great

and hopefully we might get to know a few of you soon

Can recommend murcia golf properties plenty of bargins on there site we bought through them and they were first class. Re-paid all our costs for a 3 day visit and put us up in apt on Le Torre even filled up the fridge with basic,s including wine and beer.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you do decide Condado is for you, we agreed to buy our property off plan about 2 years ago and other than some small worries along the way mainly due to us being firs timers at buying property abroad, we haven’t and don’t regret our decision for one second. In fact having watched Condado develop over the time I would say we are happier now at our decision than we were when we agreed to buy. Due to the recession some things will take longer to be built than they were originally intended but that’s only to be expected in this financial climate. If I was in your position now I would rent someone’s apartment on the complex and come and have a look around, if you decide to do this just ask on the forum about availability and people will make themselves known to you, we don’t rent our apartment out but if you want a recommendation just PM me, but you will not be able to do that until you have made about 6 posts or so. Whilst out on the resort you can have a look at all the gardens and penthouse blocks and get an idea what you like. As you go around the gardens you can see a number of property for sale so you can note down the numbers and contact the agents to view them, Yes at the moment you can save money on the cost of property but I would suggest location is also important so having the opportunity to come and see first hand is worth it.

If you would rather come with an agent their are numerous, just be sure you are under no obligation if you decide to allow one of them to bring you out. As I say I would come out independently as thing are which allows you to look in your own time and I would think give you more options to make offers.

we bought through Murcia Golf Properties and they were great from start to finish, their aftercare service is great too. We were aprehensive as never bought abroad before and you hear so many horror stories, but they were literally on the other end of the phone to answer any queries/worries

Sam showed us around, they put us up in the intercontintal on Mar Menor - it was lovely. She has given us her number for any emergencies (touch wood there wont be any) as she can speak spanish and she may be able to help us, i felt that this was above what they needed to do

i would highly recommend them
